Leafless trees posing against a winter sky often catch my attention.

In this simplified winterscape I come to a deeper understanding of ‘Tree’ through the observation of their skeletal structures.



As nature rests, I contemplate the Japanese aesthethic of Wabi Sabi.

It is a view that focuses on finding beauty within the imperfections and impermanence of life and acceptance of the cycles of growth and decay.
